I believe there are a lot of nuances when it comes to this word. Today we’re going to dive in with my opinion or assessment of the word and how I feel about fellow black people using it, as well as non-black people. Furthermore, I want to talk about how the validity of this word in some ways has been watered down due to things such as pop culture. And of course, this is a conversation that I believe can go further, because I believe this word is also entwined with things such as colorism and texturism and this idea of micro-aggression.
